Peace for Africa and Economic Development (PAD) is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a community of locally-engaged youth business leaders in Kenya. We work together with youth to provide them with the appropriate skills and knowledge that will enable them to harness economic, social and socio-political opportunities.
As active and productive citizens in their communities and the nation, this will contribute strongly to enabling the youth to access sustainable sources of livelihood and positively impact their communities.
This year, PAD has partnered with 10 youth groups in Migori, Nakuru and Nairobi Counties who are building their micro enterprises into large socially responsible business enterprises by 2018. These partners were recruited in the first drive which took place in October 2014.
PAD has now opened its 2nd recruitment drive aimed at partnering with an additional 20 youth groups/organisations in the same counties.
They are interested in finding youth organisations that:
• have members who are aged between 18-35 years;
• have a group/organization that has existed for 1-2 years;
• have a minimum of 5 members/owners;
• have a passion for improving the welfare of their community;
• are dedicated to the hard work needed to grow their groups/organizations;
• have an existing income-generating activity;
• are based in Migori, Nakuru or Nairobi County
This recruitment drive will run until 18th December 2015. Full details are found in the links below:
