Survey on Unemployment and Underemployment Situation facing Kenyan Youth

Altan Consulting in partnership with Youth County Projects Kenya wants to engage youth as they gather and analyze data on the unemployment and underemployment situation facing Kenyan youth.

Altan Consulting deals specifically with youth economic  and financial policy consulting.Youth County Projects Kenya avails information on projects and opportunities for the youth in all the 47 counties in Kenya.

The unemployment problem is global and presents a particularly difficult labor market experience for youth. In Kenya especially, unemployment and underemployment continue to be major obstacles to the full utilization of human resources despite relatively strong growth in the region over the last decade. Creation of jobs for the youth is particularly a major focus of development policy.

Following the historical step in 2015 – the Sustainable Development Goals summit in September –Altan Consulting and Youth County Projects Kenya are eager to ensure that they add unique value to the youth economic situation, supporting but not duplicating the efforts of others.

It also highlights projects focusing on youth being implemented in 47 counties in Kenya by the national government,county governments,donor agencies,civil society organisations (CSOs),Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs),Donor Agencies,Community Based Organisations (CBOs),private sector and individuals and their impact to the communities.
The projects lie within the social pillar,economic pillar and political pillar as enshrined in Vision 2030.
