The Maragwa mentorship program is a platform that aims to mentor students in both primary and secondary schools to make the best out of their lives.This program is an initiative of Sam Wairimu which seeks to register volunteers who will join them in this noble cause. Previously through his mentorship program they have been able to visit primary schools in Maragua where they donated Oxford Geometrical sets to pupils awaiting to sit for their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE).
The other project that Sam Wairumu runs is the Education for Sustainable development where school kids are encouraged to engage in Agriculture.His team donated certified seeds for the project.Due to Sam Wairimu’s initiative the performance of candidates in KCPE improved from a mean score of 187 to 212 marks in Maragua.
Sam Wairimu believes that by youth volunteering to share their stories and experiences, they can shape these children into great men and women who will make a positive difference in the world.
