Jiactivate Youth Devolution Dialogue in Athi River Ward,Mavoko Constituency,Machakos County

Violet Mbiti Foundation and Organization of African Youth Kenya Chapter held Phase 2 of Jiactivate Devolution Dialogue in Athi River Ward,Mavoko Sub County Machakos County where 10 youth organizations were represented.


Also in attendance was Member County of Assembly Hon Robert Kisini Mca Athiriver ,Constituency Manager Eric who represented Hon Makau,Member of Parliament Mavoko Constituency,The County Government was represented by officials from Ministry of Trade and Investment .

Previous engagement was conducted during Phase 1 of Jiactivate in Wamunyu Ward Mwala Constituency Machakos County.Devolution was discussed in depth with regard to The National Government and County Government.Issues ailing the youth were addressed and a youth committee was formed which will advocate for youth issues at the County Government with regard to policy formulation and enactment.
