Call for Application – 18th Melaka International Youth Dialogue (MIYD) ‘Youth Engineering A Sustainable Urbanisation’ on 24th – 28th June 2018 in Melaka, Malaysia

World Assembly of Youth (WAY) Headquarters in Melaka, Malaysia are pleased to inform you that the 18th Melaka International Youth Dialogue (MIYD) with the theme ‘‘Youth Engineering A Sustainable Urbanisation’’will be held from 24th – 28th June 2018 in Melaka, Malaysia. This Dialogue is organised by the World Assembly of Youth (WAY) in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Malaysia), the Melaka State Government, the Asian Youth Council, and the Malaysian Youth Council.

The 18th MIYD theme has been selected to uplift ideas and leverage the role of young people towards attaining a strategic and sustainable urbanisation. An interactive dialogue on this topic will be of significance to form, educate, and increase awareness on the challenges and entitlements of youth for a conducive and secure environment that assures and supports their development fully at the different levels of society that they represent. Thus, all participants and stakeholders will gather to call for action and structure experiences on the issue of Urbanisation and Youth Development. The outcome document will elevate youth contribution towards the attainment of sustainable urbanisation and assure favorably in youth development as well as the betterment of societies as a whole.

The projects lie within the social pillar,economic pillar and political pillar as enshrined in Vision 2030.
