Public Participation on Youth Health Budget Advocacy taking place in Nairobi County

On 11th of February 2019,Violet Mbiti Foundation Nairobi Chapter team based in Starehe Sub County took part in the public participation exercise that was held at Kariokor Social Hall.

We submitted our memo on Health Budget Advocacy with a special focus on youth and adolescents to the Sub County Fiscal Strategy Paper team leader.

Our agenda was three fold increase family planning commodities supply, offer Youth friendly services at the health centers and increase budgetary allocation for development projects.

The projects lie within the social pillar,economic pillar and political pillar as enshrined in Vision 2030.
