The University of Northern Colorado is currently providing an educational opportunity to support interested students towards their cost of studying using the Bob Ross International Ambassador Awards.
The University of Northern Colorado was founded in 1889 and tucked between the Rocky Mountains and Colorado’s stunning high plains, UNC is a public doctoral research university committed to the success of its students, with more than 100 undergraduate programs and 113 graduate programs. The university’s just-right size, expert faculty, and tradition of research and hands-on learning gives students exceptional opportunities and a personalized education.
This year marks 20 years for UNC’s Stryker Institute for Leadership Development, and the program continues to make a difference for students, and gives them leadership skills to go on and make a difference in the lives of others.
As the Stryker Institute for Leadership Development prepared to celebrate its 20th anniversary in late September, it did something it has been doing since its beginnings: It gave voice to the women who have been part of its transformative efforts. Stryker Scholars were asked about the impact the program has had on their lives — and, exponentially, on the people and communities around them — and they shared an outpouring of strength, gratitude and community.
Why choose to study at the University of Northern Colorado? The University of Northern Colorado is a university that is highly engaged in authentic teaching and learning by applying knowledge to real-life problem solving, thus leading to transformative education. UNCO only focuses on transforming students organically.
